Suicide bombers kill 11, injure 21 in Maiduguri attacks 

Boko Haram suicide bombers attacked three different locations in Maiduguri on Tuesday night killing 19 and injuring 23 others.


Responding to the incidents, Chairman of the Borno State Emergency Management Agency, SEMA, Satomi Ahmed, told journalists that the persons killed in the explosions included the suicide bombers.

It was also gathered that 23 persons who were injured in the attacks had been taken to the hospital.
These attacks follow a pattern of similar attacks deployed against soft targets and other strategic points by Boko Haram in what has been described as an adjusted insurgency strategy by the group owing to the military’s enormous gains in conventional engagement.
